My name is Mitchell

I’m a filmmaker based in Indianapolis, and I’ve spent the last decade filming weddings.

Over the years, I’ve become less interested in creating perfect wedding videos and more interested in preserving the day as it really felt.

The laughter during dinner. The conversations before the ceremony. The way your grandparents moved through the room. The people who showed up for you.

Because those are often the things that become more meaningful with time.

And if I’m not filming a wedding, I’m probably filming something else. Or playing with my dogs. Or reading something light, like War and Peace.

What Matters To Me

The experience of being there.

A wedding film is more than a record of events. It’s a way to remember what it felt like to be in the room. The energy, the relationships, and the moments between the moments.

The people.

The flowers, decor, and details matter. But years from now, most couples talk about the people. The voices. The conversations. The family members who were there. Those are often the things that stay with us longest.

The sounds of the day.

The vows, speeches, laughter, and conversations are often the moments people treasure most. I put a lot of effort into capturing clear audio because those voices deserve to be heard clearly years from now.

Weddings work best when everyone works together.

Photographers, planners, DJs, venue staff, and videographers all play a role in the day. The best results come from collaboration, communication, and treating people with respect.

Filmed without feeling filmed.

The less people feel like they’re performing, the more authentic the moments become. Many couples tell me they forgot I was there after a while. I take that as a compliment.
