The Sixpence Wedding Videographer
A cinematic film to tell the story. A documentary film to preserve the day.
Why I Love Filming Weddings at The Sixpence
I’ve always believed the people make the wedding, not the location. But some venues make it easier for people to be fully present, and The Sixpence is one of those places. The pace never feels rushed, guests spend more time together, and that gives me the chance to capture the moments that become the heart of a wedding film.

A Wedding Film from The Sixpence
Here’s a wedding film I created at The Sixpence that captures the atmosphere, emotion, and story of the day.
Why The Sixpence Works So Well for Wedding Films
A Wedding Day That Never Feels Rushed
One of the things I appreciate most about The Sixpence is how naturally the day flows. Couples can get ready, see each other, get married, celebrate with family, and dance the night away without everyone constantly packing up and driving somewhere else.
That slower pace usually creates something much more valuable than beautiful images—it gives people the space to actually experience their wedding day.
Plenty of Space for Real Moments
The Sixpence has a way of letting people spread out. Guests aren’t packed into one room all day, and couples often find little pockets of quiet throughout the property.
Those unscripted conversations, hugs between family members, kids running around, grandparents watching from the sidelines—those are the moments I find myself returning to when I’m editing.
Built for Celebration
Some venues naturally encourage people to linger instead of leaving right after dinner. The Sixpence has always felt like one of those places to me.
When guests are comfortable, conversations last longer, the dance floor fills up, and the day unfolds without feeling rushed. Those moments often become the heart of the documentary films I create.
Frequently Asked Questions
Have you filmed weddings at The Sixpence before?
Yes. I’ve filmed weddings at The Sixpence and have become familiar with how the venue flows throughout the day. Every wedding is different, but knowing the property allows me to anticipate moments, work efficiently, and focus on telling your story instead of figuring out logistics.
Does The Sixpence work well for wedding videography?
Absolutely. One of the biggest advantages of The Sixpence is that everything happens in one location. Couples and guests spend less time traveling and more time enjoying the day together, which naturally creates more meaningful moments to capture.
Will my ceremony and speeches be recorded in full?
Yes. Every wedding I film includes the full ceremony and speeches, along with a cinematic wedding film and a documentary wedding film that preserves the day as it happened.
Do you work well with photographers?
Absolutely. My goal is always to work alongside your photographer so neither of us is competing for moments. The day should never feel like a production.
Do you direct us all day?
Not at all. I’ll give guidance when it’s helpful, but most of the day I’m simply observing and documenting what naturally unfolds. I want your wedding film to feel like your wedding, not a staged photo shoot. That’s the philosophy behind my documentary wedding films, which you can learn more about here.
Do you use drones at The Sixpence?
When weather, FAA regulations, and the day’s schedule allow, I enjoy incorporating aerial footage to help establish the venue and surrounding grounds. However, my focus is always on the people and the story, so drone footage is used only when it adds something meaningful to your film.
